MindanaoHerald | Early adopters of agricultural e-learning upgrades in Bukidnon institutions | CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Bukidnon province schools are the first in the Northern Mindanao region to reorient updated e-learning course modules to focus on agriculture.

Jan-Ariss Jadaque, the technical support focal person of the Agricultural Training Institute in Region 10 (ATI-10), stated in an interview on Friday that the re-orientation was attended by 60 instructors from 15 schools in Malaybalay City.

“One of the objectives we also aim for the briefing is to develop a plan for a possible partnership with the different schools from the (Department of Education’s) Division of Malaybalay City,” said the representative.

The e-learning briefing for instructors provided them with guidance on the new website, which was relaunched in 2023.

Its objective is to encourage the participation of young people in agriculture and fishing by incorporating an e-learning program into the senior high school curriculum of these institutions’ Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track.

Victhor Palarca, ATI-10 Media Production Specialist, stated that the e-learning program was initiated in 2010, but the agriculture modules are a component of the electronic extension program, which has been in operation since 2007. (via PNA)
