Trump Tower Tbilisi Unveiled in High-Profile Launch Celebrating Georgia’s Emerging Global Appeal

Hosted at Tbilisi’s renowned Funicular overlooking the Georgian capital, the invitation-only gathering featured international investors, business leaders, project partners, celebrities, artists, influencers and members of the global media.
The event provided the first major public presentation of Trump Tower Tbilisi and the wider Downtown Tbilisi development, a planned approximately US$2 billion mixed-use destination located next to the city’s Central Park.
International Launch for a Landmark Development
The evening combined the presentation of the project’s architectural vision with entertainment and Georgian cultural elements. A multimedia presentation introduced guests to the planned tower and the broader Downtown Tbilisi concept before the official unveiling.
The celebration concluded with performances from Grammy Award-winning singer CeeLo Green and internationally recognized DJ and producer Francis Mercier, adding a global entertainment component to the launch.
For the developers and project partners, the event represented an important milestone in presenting Tbilisi as an increasingly international destination for investment, business and high-end urban development.

A 62-Storey Addition to the Tbilisi Skyline
Trump Tower Tbilisi forms the centerpiece of the larger Downtown Tbilisi master development and is planned to become the first tower constructed within the project.
Designed by Gensler Washington, D.C., the proposed 62-storey structure is expected to reach approximately 280 meters, positioning it as the tallest building in Georgia and creating a prominent new architectural feature on the capital’s skyline.
The tower is being developed in partnership with The Trump Organization, alongside Archi Group and INVIA, the principal partners and developers of Downtown Tbilisi. The Sapir Organization is serving as co-developer, while Block Stone Capital, Finvest Georgia and Vector Group are participating as minority partners.
The development team is combining local real estate expertise with international design, development and investment capabilities.

Downtown Tbilisi: A City Within the City
Downtown Tbilisi is planned across an approximately eight-hectare site beside Central Park. The master plan calls for six towers and approximately 6.4 million square feet of gross building area.
The approximately US$2 billion development is expected to include:
- 500,000 square feet of retail space
- 450,000 square feet of office space
- 450,000 square feet of hotel space
- 2.7 million square feet of residential space
The retail podium is envisioned as a luxury shopping and dining destination inspired by Miami’s Bal Harbour Shops. Its design is intended to connect commercial spaces with the neighboring park, creating an indoor-outdoor environment for residents, visitors and the wider community.
Trump Tower Tbilisi itself is planned around a park-oriented residential lifestyle, with access to Central Park, landscaped terraces and amenity decks. Street-level offerings are expected to include premium dining and luxury retail.
According to the development plans, studio residences will begin at approximately US$290,000, while residential pricing is expected to range from roughly US$650 to US$1,000 per square foot.
Financing and Georgia’s Growing International Profile
The project is supported by a financing package from TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia, two of the country’s major banking institutions whose parent companies are listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The launch also comes amid continued international interest in Georgia, a country strategically positioned between Europe and Asia.
According to the project announcement, Georgia has achieved average annual real economic growth of approximately 9 percent over the past four years. Its network of free-trade agreements also provides access to markets representing approximately 2.3 billion consumers.
For the project’s developers, these factors contribute to a broader investment narrative around Tbilisi and Georgia as international capital, businesses and visitors increasingly look toward the region.
A New Chapter for Tbilisi
The September 15 launch ultimately served as more than a formal introduction to a new skyscraper. It presented Downtown Tbilisi as a broader urban-development proposition and placed Trump Tower Tbilisi at the center of that vision.
As guests gathered above the Georgian capital, the event brought together international entertainment, business leaders, investors and development partners against the backdrop of Tbilisi’s illuminated skyline.
