Mindanaoherald | Revenue collected by Caraga LTO in 2023 totals P543 million | BUTUAN CITY – In 2023, the Land Transportation Office in the Caraga Region (LTO-13) made PHP543 million.

“The money was made from registering cars, selling licenses, and stepping up police operations,” LTO-13 Director Alim Pangandaman said at the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas media event here on Tuesday.

Last year, the office registered 325,052 cars, which brought in more than PHP400 million.

In the same year, 378,319 contract deals were recorded, worth a total of PHP129.6 million.

Law enforcement actions were stepped up last year, which led to 8,691 arrests and the collection of PHP13.3 million.

According to Pangandaman, the high revenue was due to better enforcement and effective execution of plans and programs, especially those that improved road safety efforts for drivers and passengers and moved land transportation forward.

He said that the office had also made its transaction services better by going digital. (via PNA)
