MANILA, Philippines — Excellence took center stage as the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) honored the country’s most outstanding retailers, shopping centers, and retail innovators during the Outstanding Filipino Retailers (OFR) Awards 2026, recognizing businesses that continue to shape the future of Philippine commerce.
Held following the successful 32nd National Retail Conference and Expo (NRCE) 2026, the awards celebrated organizations whose commitment to innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, customer experience, and responsible leadership has elevated the standards of the Philippine retail industry.
For nearly three decades, the OFR Awards has served as the retail sector’s premier recognition program, honoring businesses that continue to redefine excellence while contributing to economic growth and consumer confidence.
This year’s edition reflected the industry’s ongoing transformation as retailers embrace digital technologies, evolving consumer behavior, omnichannel strategies, and sustainable business practices.
Among the night’s top honorees was Golden ABC, which earned both the Retail Employer Award and the coveted Retailer of the Year title for its leadership in brand building, people development, and business innovation.
Other major winners included PENSHOPPE for Excellence in Retailing – Omnichannel, Spatio for Excellence in Retailing – In-Store Experience & Design (Medium Category) and Most Promising Retailer of the Year, MR. DIY Philippines for Sustainability, OXGN for Retail Marketing Campaign, Anthem Group for In-Store Experience & Design (Large Category), Rose Pharmacy as Regional Retailer of the Year, and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls – Forbes Town and Uptown Bonifacio as Shopping Center of the Year.

The ceremony likewise paid tribute to two of Philippine retail’s most respected leaders. The PRA Legacy Award was conferred posthumously on Vivian Que Azcona, while Roberto “Bobby” Claudio and Ma. Alegria “Bing” Limjoco received the PRA President’s Award as Pillars of Philippine Retail Leadership.
The integrity of the awards remained anchored on an independent panel chaired by Harvey Ong, 2026 OFR Awards Committee Chair, together with respected leaders from the Department of Trade and Industry, NielsenIQ, Management Association of the Philippines, Great Place To Work Philippines, Philippine Institute of Interior Designers, and the retail consulting sector.
As Philippine retail continues to evolve through technology, sustainability, and changing consumer expectations, the OFR Awards remains a benchmark for businesses striving to achieve world-class standards while creating lasting value for customers, employees, and communities.
